El Hombre Astral biography
EL HOMBRE ASTRAL are from Valladolid in Spain, founded by guitarist/vocalist Cesar DIAZ, formerly with RAO TRIO (playing bass). David DE LA PAZA is on guitars with Jacobo MENDEZ REPISO (drums) and Roberto PEREZ FERNANDEZ (bass/vocals). They sing in Spanish, and the Spanish influence is present in their music. They have two albums released as of today, ''Involucion'' (2207) and ''Tierra'' (2009).
The band plays some melodic and catchy songs, with a hard edge, with no display of excess technicality of some progressive metal bands. The music is not too fast or too heavy, it's a mix of progressive rock with more conventional rock, similar to bands like KING X and DREAM THEATER.
