Nathan Frost biography
Multi-instrumentalist and video-game developer Nathan FROST had for over thirteen years been developing his version of progressive metal, which finally became the instrumental album ''Synecron'', recorded in 2012 and released in 2013. Playing piano and pong from a young age, he co-founded the progressive metal band STRYCHNINE before enrolling at a premier videogame development school. In ''Synecron'' FROST has recruited a plethora of well-known virtuosos: Derek SHERINIAN (ex-DREAM THEATER, PLANET X), Virgil DONATI (PLANET X, STEVE VAI), Marco MINNEMANN (Tony MACALPINE, KREATOR), Marco SFOGLI (James LABRIE, Jordan RUDESS), and Taka MINAMINO (Derek SHERINIAN).

The album was mixed and mastered by sound engineer Steven Seibold and was released in September 2013. FROST's sound is a mix of traditional progressive metal with jazz/fusion, influenced partly by the presence of virtuosos and their respective bands e.g. DREAM THEATER, PLANET X etc.
