Efecto biography
EFECTO were an experimental progressive rock band formed in Santiago in 2003. The band that had two drummers and keyboardists in its rooster used synthesizers and vibraphones with additional regular rock instruments to develop their sound of symphonic rock with fusion that was in part also vocal in Spanish. They released their only self-titled album in 2006 and dissolved in 2008 after the musicians left to follow different paths in their music career; in 2009 the album was remastered for a new edition by Mylodon where they are one of the most sophisticated bands on the label.

NOTE: Not to be confounded with the Brazilian band EL EFECTO
