THE ANTIKYTHERA MECHANISM is an Atlanta, Georgia-based sextet working within the extreme tech metal genre. The band was formed in 2013 with Austin SELF on drums, guitarists Ben GREENEBERG, David DIX and David THRASHER, Josh THOMPSON on bass and Will REYNOLDS on vocals.

The band released their debut EP entitled "The Inevitable Collapse Of Earthly Consummation" in 2013 and have followed it up with "Pathos" in 2014. "Pathos" is a highly technical release featuring five tracks that depict skilled musicianship and experimental approach to the extreme metal genre. According to the band, the EP depicts subjects of human self destruction through religion, politics and one's own vice filled greed, "Pathos" speaks more to the future of our race and what impact our tiny existence has on a much greater plan for the universe.

Recommended to fans of extreme metal music a few eclectic touches added to the mix.
