Arroway biography
Formed in 2012, ARROWAY is a post rock band formed in Paris, France by Julien PIERRON. Influenced by the large atmospheric post rock bands such as MONO, EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY, and SIGUR ROS and the more indi post rock bands such as MOGWAI, ARROWAY began producing emotive post rock albums almost immediately, with their first release, the EP We're Too Small, being released in January of 2013. ARROWAY didn't stay quiet, as the band's next three releases, the live album Noises Sessions, the EP How Far Can We Go With One Breath, and the EP We Should Have Known Better were released in April, May, and December of the same year, respectively. The albums showed PIERRON's dedication to the atmospheric side of post rock and the albums were full of emotive soundscapes. 2014 saw only one EP, Hover Over, which was in much the same style as the previous releases.
