Guardian Alien biography
GUARDIAN ALIEN are currently a trio led by drummer extraordinaire GREG FOX (Liturgy, Zs, Ben Frost, Kid Millions, Dan Deacon, Dustin Wong), along with Alexandra Drewchin and Bernard Gann.

In 2012's "See The World Given To A One Loving Entity", Guardian Alien's first album on Thrill Jockey records, the band manages to successfully combine Fox's endless hypnotizing drum patterns with a heavy dose of psychedelic guitars and sounds. The track goes on and on, hypnotizing the listener with Fox's brutally precise technique, which can only be fully digested after repeated listens.

The band have released two albums in 2014: "Spiritual Emergency" and "Elf In μ";.

Guardian Alien have managed to push complex psychedelia to a point beyond definition. This isn't your usual 60s psych rock - this is an ambitious take on the idea of psychedelia, which takes the genre to the realms of modern avantgarde while still being vivid, playful, and fascinating.
