Sedate Illusion biography
The band started as a project of Vangelis KAKAROUGAS (Kinetic, Equal Vector)in 2004. The first album was a instrumental one with the collaboration of Theodore PEGOUIGIS (ex-drummer of Equal Vector). In 2010, the album "0545" came out with the participation of Peter POLITIS on guitars in some tracks. Peter has work also on the album released in 2011 "Illusory Sustenance". "What Remains" is a concept album released in 2014 done with a long list of valuable guest musicians. The band has just released in 2016 his last album, "Glass Delusion".

The music of SEDATE ILLUSION display a wide range of moods with a experimental Progressive Metal that goes from some fast heavy riffs to some slow atmospheric and quiet passages with complex orchestrations and influences of bands such as KATATONIA, CHROMA KEY and HAKEN.
