2 stars Alright!

Thanks to a recommendation I saw here in PA, I took the chance of downloading in that "pay what you want" mode the first EP of this British trio whose music is clearly oriented to the matht-rock side, and I can tell you that they are interesting, their music can be easily spread and enjoyed. The name of the release I am reviewing is "123.EP" which contains three short songs that together make a total of 10 minutes. So you will not waste your time, you can take those 10 minutes of your life to know them and decide if your interest goes farther or not.

Since the first seconds of "Honey Badger" you will feel (and listen) the power and energy this trio has, it seems they are hungry and want to eat the world, so I guess at least with it they hold my attention. The guitar man makes several interesting figures, while the bass player produces a hard and cool sound, meanwhile, the drummer puts its constant sound and the result is a nice track, which I am not sure if was an improvisation, I have my doubts. "Neo Tokyo" starts with math guitars that repeat themselves for some seconds, while a synth appears as background; later the bass slaps, letting us know the guys are talented and I am sure, studied. I like the energy and how in moments the math style becomes heavy rock.

The last track is "Soundtrack your death", curious title that shows they are not an average band, they want to be different, they are daring, which I like. The music is nice, too bad the songs are so short, however, they play loads of notes in those 3 minutes. Nice band, their music is interesting without a doubt, so if you can, give them a chance. My final grade will be two stars, you know my "policies".

Enjoy it!
