Forget the critics: along with Crest of a Knave (Tull), this is the best "comeback" album in rock. Steppin' and I'll Be Level are among the Moody's best hard-core rockers (Hayward's guitar work on Level is nothing short of amazing), One Step is possibly Pindar's best, most haunting work, and Had to Fall, Driftwood and The Day We Meet Again are unquestionably among the three most beautiful ballads the Moody's ever produced. This is an underappreciated gem, and should be given a non-prejudicial listening (especially with headphones).
