4 stars On Luna, Faun play a style of neo-medieval "ren faire" folk with rock influences, not unreminiscent of the likes of Blackmore's Night. Tight songwriting ensures that the album and individual songs do not outstay their welcome, and classy production values make this a nicely accessible release. Is it especially authentically medieval? No, not at all, but it's a very fun album which hits just the right spot if you are in the mood for something with a suitably witchy flavour to listen to of a dark Walpurgisnacht when your familiar is stretched out purring in front of the fire and the snow's beginning to fall.
