4 stars An EP with over 30 minutes of new music. These three tracks are a teaser to the new album Weltschmerz wich will be released in 2019. Also this EP is meant to introduce new songs for the upcoming tour.

The three songs are outstanding, written by longtime bandmembers Vantsis and Boult, and have strong symphonic/progressive elements, both giving Fish room for his storytelling lyrics and room for instrumental passages and solos by Foss Patterson and Robin Boult.

Man with a Stick is a midtempo rocker with nice keyboards and a groovy rhythm. It is very catchy and could be a hitsingle.

Little Man is pure neoprog, wich could have been a Marillion song, complete with horns, backing voals, string section, extended keyboard- and guitarsolos. It is almost 14 minutes long and is truly an epic song.

Waverley Steps is a doomy gloomy song, reminiscent of Chelsea Monday and various Fish-solo songs. It takes a while to build up, but never gets boring. Great sax by David Jackson gives the song a great atmosphere.

The four included livetracks are nice although a little tame. They are included because Fish will not play them on tour.

All in all, thies EP lasts 50 minutes, wich is is a treat. I give 5 stars to the new songs and 3,5/4 stars for the live tracks. So this EP wil get 4 stars.

Highly recommended!
