3 stars The work that had been left for Miles Davis in the 60's might have been an age when many, the transition, and groping for indeed various music were filled. "Kind Of Blue"'s made to succeed to the conversion from own hand BOP to the mode exactly expanding the width of the directionality of Jazz in the 60's resulted. The transition gives birth to various works and the results at the same time as groping. And, Sax player's Wayne Shorter joins the combo as a result and the answer to one top, mode, and hard BOP is received.

The performance in former Composition's "Four&More" ..indeed high-quality work.. has finished. Energy exactly the activity in the middle of 60 years for Miles that performed a lot of standard Jazz with the revolution of music. The fact that Sax player's changing places was of course intense was appearance of the pursuit of the music character in which Miles did not compromise.

Sax player's George Coleman did very good work. It might be remarkably expressed in the work and become other members' stimulation.

And, an energy activity of Miles turns up the heat further with groping. The problem of Sax player's changing places at this time continued and was always being offered to the listener for Miles like wiping it out by a high-quality performance. And, Miles visited Japan for the first time in July, 1964 and offered the spectator a high-quality performance. It is this album to have recorded the performance.

The Sax player has already alternated to Sam Rivers. And, Wayne Shorter that comes the age that is called "Five person gold" back participates in "Miles In Berlin" announced next to this album. The period when Sam Rivers was on the register ..valuable performance.. has finished very short though this respect is considered.

It was talked that Miles had been welcomed very pleasantly in Japan. Miles does some visits to Japan back. However, a high performance of the quality in which it rid on the wave of Miles offered music preeminent in Japan that had visited for the first time.

Another new wind is sent compared with the Sax player to whom the performance of Sam Rivers that slightly became on the register of one month is on the register indeed before, too. And, feeling that other members merge well in the performance like answering the performance might succeed as a work. The entire flow of the album is consistent as standard. However, the performance of five people at this time might be one obviously answers that follow the mode and digested compared with the performance of Wayne Shorter. And, it might be too regrettable to call this valuable performance an age that changes from the mode to an electronic age on the way.
