This is Oldfield entering his first major low era. Yes there are some interesting songs with perfect vocals like ' To France', ' Crystal Gazing' and the overrated instrumental ' The Lake' but anyone considering listening to Oldfield for the first time should be aware this album is very definitely for collectors only.
