ERIC WOOLFSON SINGS THE ALAN PARSONS PROJECT THAT NEVER WAS

A lost collection from the other half of the Alan Parsons Project. The songs here don't sound too much like APP, unless you only pulled out the simpler, mellower, more pop-oriented songs from each album. You won't find another I Wouldn't Want to Be Like You here, and unlike APP, there's only one singer throughout?Woolfson himself. Also missing are any instrumental songs, long solos, or long songs. There's obviously a lot of talent on display, but for me, it doesn't have the magic of the teamup with Alan Parsons.

Most people around here probably enjoy the more complex, progressive parts of APP's catalogue, so this collection, while pleasant enough, is mostly for collectors and fans only.
