A MOMENTARY LAPSE OF REASON

This was the first album from Pink Floyd without the controversial Roger Waters. I had very high expectations and bought it without reading any review. Well, this album turned out to be a rather disappointing experience because it sounded to polished and to predictable to me. Despite the very impressive list of guest musicians (from Carmine Appice to John Halliwell and Tony Levin, the music fails to generate the smallest amount of excitement that we could expect from Pink Floyd in the past. It is a very professional product, the video-clips look smooth but can't hide that Pink Floyd has turned into a machine, welcome!
