THE MASQUERADE OVERTURE

I think there are few records who give the overall feeling of perfection: nice compositions, nice songs the way the songs fit together and a nice coverwork.The Masqerade Overtoure is one of them. This is for me with the first Flower Kings record a modern Prog Classic. A majority of ballads(which remind me Trick of the tail) and very nice 12 string guitar work. Clive Nolans Keyboard work fits very well with the excellent compositions of Barrett. My favourite tracks are Paintbox and the last two Bonus Tracks Schizo and King of the castle.
