5 stars I love to say and repeat: "Prog gems never end". In the few moments when I myself doubt it, I come across to an album that completely changes my mind. In such a moment I found "Y Murió la Tarde" by the band named NIRGAL VALLIS, blindly browsing YouTube. Feeling super sleepy, I barely pushed play and tried keep my attention for couple of minutes. The result was I kept the albums spinning 4 times and couldn't sleep 'til dawn.

It wasn't flashiness of music that impressed me; in fact, the album is quite opposite, gentle and sometimes acoustically Genesis. But what is unique to this album, it is, at the moments, so mystic sound and melody lines that create strong Native American atmosphere. Original female vocal timbre surely adds much to it.

All songs here are great, but especially "La espera (un ser llamado muerte)" and "El tiempero" are breathtaking. Like our fellow collaborator said, "elegant" describes it all well, for me it's just MAGIC.

So, I fearlessly recommend this to anyone and especially those who somehow feel tired of European progressive rock atmosphere. This album, while maintaining the links with the well-known, offers us the glimpse to the exciting new world.
