BIG GENERATOR

An absolute disgrace to the name of Yes, Big Generator, released in 1987, is a very good contender for the worst album on this fine site. This is Yes at their lowest, 90125 was an already shocking blow in quality control/style difference, but had it's slight redeeming qualities like the intro to Leave It, and the scattered, low quality solos. Here, it is pure and total pop nonsense, and not even decent pop. Every track is riddled with horribly cheesy vocals, paper thin guitar lines, and despicable, toddler level composition/lyrics.

Not reccomended to anybody, stay far, far away. There's enough music in the world to keep you well occupied before this incredibly terrible album would gain the right to access your ears. It pains me to write about it.
