5 stars Epilog! Dark, moody, mysterious, powerful, aggressive, beautiful. A wonderful album from a wonderful band. This album goes everywhere from dark medieval folk, to incredibly dynamic, avant-symphonic prog rock, and mostly just those two, as is the fashion with Anglagard. The band does not really break down any barriers in comparison to the first album but rather refines its sound. This album sounds like a few extremely talented musicians doing exactly what they want to do, with some of the greatest execution I've ever heard. I can not say enough about this album except that it is without a doubt, a masterpiece of Symphonic prog.
