1 stars 90125 has been thrown under the bus quite often, and reasonably so- it must be hard to see one of your favorite bands turn into a generic pop band- not to mention that, by today's standards, 90125, and it's even harder-hit companion Big Generator, sound extremely dated and corny. 90125 isn't that bad of an album, in my opinion- the songs are often well-written and catchy, and I sometimes catch myself humming one of these tunes- however, there is SO much music out there that is SO much better, that the only real reason to get 90125 would be to complete your Yes collection. Thus, the album earns a one star rating- if you are a progressive rock fan, then just about everything Yes has made before this is more deserving of a place in your collection, especially taking into consideration their early-70's gems.
