THE ICE BRIDGE

Ah, the return of the great and mighty Yes. They have really outdone themselves with this one, it is true high quality yes meterial. The keyboards are complex and beautiful, Alan Whites drums add a lot to the song as always, Billy Sherwoods bass playing is very comparable to that of Squire, he is a great replacement, and Jon Davidson has done as good a job as anyone can to fill in for Anderson on this track. The lyrics themselves are truly amazing, they tell the inspiring story of a tribe trying to survive in an incredibly easy to understand way, it's like listening to a book put to music. All in all, this is an amazing track, that will keep you engaged for the whole 7 minutes. I just can't wait until the full album comes out, because if the whole thing is as good as this track, then we are certainly in for a ride when with the full album!
