5 stars Close To The Edge is an absolute masterpiece by the five geniuses Anderson, Bruford, Howe, Squire and Wakeman. Their musical mastery is immense.

Side A is only one track. But it's the behemoth Close to the Edge. Every member of the band takes his moment of glory. I especially love how Squire and Bruford drive this forward in parts I, II and IV. It allows Howe and Wakeman to shine (especially on part I and part IV respectively). 10/10

Side B starts with And You And I. The pace drops considerably. It is a beautiful composition. Not up to par with the first track. But that is virtually impossible. 8/10

Siberian Khatru is the last track of the album. Squire and Bruford are at it again, bringing energy and rhythm which Anderson, Howe and Wakeman use to show off. This is another great track, completing a memorizing album. 8/10

Close to the Edge is a legendary album due to the title track. This one is unique and made me decide to go for the full five stars.
