5 stars Yours Is No Disgrace Very much one of the "classics" in my opinion. This song is lyrically terrific and very witty, and composed excellently. Its insanely catchy and Andersons vocals are as great as always. A very high 9/10

The Clap A nice interlude before the next song in my opinion. Nothing too special, but its rather short and doesn't overstay its welcome. 7/10

Starship Trooper Again, another classic song in my opinion. Many of my comments about Yours Is No Disgrace apply here, though I consider this song to be slightly better in my opinion. A solid 9/10

I've Seen All Good People I know just about every Yes fan holds this song in high regard, but I have never heard it in any discussion regarding their best songs, and this one certainly is one of them. The first half of the song is so beautiful and elegant. As soon as the recorder hops into the mix, its pure bliss. The second half of the song is also pretty great, though admittedly weaker than the first half, but it doesn't change the fact that this is one of my favorite songs of all time. 10/10- a true masterpiece

A Venture Underrated in my opinion, though it is the weakest track on the album. The lyrics are really great but the music lacks much of the greatness of the rest of the album. 8/10

Perpetual Change Another underrated song, and probably my second favorite on the album. Arguably this song has the best composition of any song on the album, with sections bleeding into each other really nicely (whereas other songs felt like multiple tunes stitched together). Wonderful vocals by Anderson and great music to boot. A high 9/10

Arguably their greatest non-concept album, and in my opinion The Yes Album was the bands first truly great album. Yours Is No Disgrace, Starship Trooper, and Perpetual Change are all immediate classics in my opinion, and of course, I've Seen All Good People is a masterpiece thru and thru.

Weighted average: 8.9/10, though this album is a 10/10 in my book.
