3 stars The French band MORRIGAN in his second disk "Respirer" presents a mixture of prog rock with hard" pinches|" , folk and barrock music. Tends with their main influences fellow citizens of ANGE & MONALISA with their dramatic vocalizations , GENTLE GIANT and their medieval passages (in some tracks proportionate for the invited musicians, the track 2 "Imortel" is a beautiful example of this). The hard-prog comes in a clear way for instance in the track 1. I detach still some passages with clear oriental inspiration (Arabic) and beautiful moments of acoustic guitar. I detach the tracks 1, 2, 3 (with his section of syncopated rhythm). However the disk doesn't get to cause the necessary impact to receive a great quotation. And due to that my rate is 3 stars!!!
