3 stars Remember the powerfool faces ...

Interesting EP from THE CARPET KNIGHTS with some changes in the line-up and the style. Vocals are improved and the flute is appearing because Magnus Nilsson is on board. I can discover more Art Rock and Neo Prog influences compared to the three years older debut EP. Furthermore the keyboards by Möllergren are getting a more important role. In summary there is to state a developement to a better and unique style combined with a more professional production.

Linchpin is exemplary for the changes - mainly Art Rock - and opens your mind late after several rehearsals. This is diversified, a grooving peace containing a shouting refrain but also with a psychedelic part - the link to the former EP and my highlight. Remember the Faces raises some Folk feelings especially because Nilsson is playing flute.

An effort with tendency to 4 stars but unfortunately too short.
