2 stars Though this is a good album from Hellborg/Lane/Sipe, three world-class fusioneers, it isn't a great one. The few attractive cuts, those with some life and the kind of playing you want from this unit, are broken up by forgettable jazz-rock meanderings. Even 'Time is the Enemy' and 'Heretics', two of Hellborg's best, are not given their optimal treatments compared to the excitment and fire they have on the live 'Personae' CD which is the one you should save your money for.
