5 stars Music by Eric Malmberg reveals a real confrontation between vintage pop synthezisation of Kratwerk, Asmus Tietchens, late Cluster and Philip Glass' effective & melancholic minimalist motifs. Malmberg plays the electronic organ in an absolute hypnotic way, built around repetition and absorbing melodic textures. The sound is initially the same in all compositions, proposing dreamy-like, spiritual and complex arrangements. The introductions track is a pleasant electronic piece, including surrealist, cyclical melodies and insistent organic bass lines. "Undermedvetandet" is an amazing electronic minimalist piece with brilliantly evocative melody in the genre of Philip Glass spacious atmospheres. The kraftwerk references come to the precision, clinical aspects of sounds and voluntary naïve moments. "Delpersonlighethera" is a floating, foggy and ultimately gorgeous soundscape, featuring long monotonous synth chords, electronic scintillations and hypno pulses. A very strong piece of work, always warm (due to the organic & melodic phrases) and easily recognizable. A classic of tomorrow.
