Review by Mellotron Storm
PROG REVIEWER
2 stars This record features some songs off of their debut album "Colour Temple" and some covers. The songs of their own are done in an acoustic way with lots of piano.

The highlights for me of the songs they cover are "Kayleigh", a MARILLION song that is one of my favourites, and VANDEN PLAS does a good job on it. "Georgia On My Mind" is a Ray Charles song, and they do it justice. The guitar melodies throughout this song are great. I much prefer the songs of their own from "Colour Temple" over these versions though. The songs from "Colour Temple" are much more powerful and energetic.

So I would recommend this record to VANDEN PLAS fans who just can't get enough. The music is all good, just nothing new.
