4 stars It isn't often that progressive metal bands are releasing singles from their albums. This is however a CD single including two tracks from VANDEN PLAS magnificent "Far Off Grace" album. The title track "I don't miss you" is a sad and beautiful ballad, and "Into the Sun" is Prog Metal at it's best. As these two songs can be found on the "Far Off Grace" album, the most interesting thing, for all of you who already have the album, are the two unreleased tracks. First there's a cover of the beautiful Sting song "Shape of my Heart" from his "Ten Summoner's Tales" album (1993). The second track are a French version of "How Many Tears", which originally can be found on VANDEN PLAS "Colour Temple" and "AcCult" albums. Some bands releases CD singles with only material from the album, or a numerous of re-mixes. VANDEN PLAS though gives the fans a little extra. IRON MAIDEN is a perfect example of that too. I also hope that some VANDEN PLAS fans will buy some Sting albums after hearing VANDEN PLAS cover of "Shape of my Heart". Recommended!
