2 stars 'Bicycle Race / Fat Bottomed Girls' - Queen (Single)

Another two song single release with one exception generally from the others; I don't much care for either of these. 'Bicycle Race' is the obvious winner out of these, being a rather funny and whimsical track, while the other one is just a generic rocker with lyrics that really seem to take alot of Queen's sophistication out of it. Neither of these songs were meant to be emotional masterpieces in their inception, but they certainly work fairly well as singles to promote the band's music. They are fun songs; the sort of music you would want to have at a party or something.

For those looking for involving and thought-provoking music, look elsewhere in Queen's discography.

"Bicycle Race" and "Fat Bottomed Girls" are two numbers that showcase the strengths of the band- churning guitar, great and funny lyrics, marvelous singing, and just plain fun.
