3 stars Ok, first thing I'll do here is confuse you. Right now we have in our neo progressive subgenre an Italian band called Tale Cue, a Multi National band called Tale and another Italian band called ... yes, really: Tale. When I bought this album I was convinced I had bought something by the Multi National outfit but it appeared it was the one just recently added here, the Italian Tale. Somehow they all play neo prog apparently. I was sure this band did so too because the music on this album sounds surprisingly much like Edhels' excellent release from 1988 called Still Dream and that album is 100% neo prog.

This is the delicate, dreamy style I can appreciate a lot at times that is when I'm in the mood for it. The music is serene and restrained, the main difference with Still Dream is that this is an 80% instrumental album where Edhels' pinnacle is 100% instrumental. The few songs on this one we can hear vocals is when Liliane Bodini does her job. Also her voice is serene making this release a modest album.

When you like this kind of music it's highly recommended but that's up to you. The stream song In the Rainbow's Blue gives a pretty good impression of what you can expect. First track Andromeda Raptus is the highlight for me but not all songs are equally great and so I will have to limit the score at three stars for this album (3,2). Nice hidden gem.
