3 stars SPACE DEBRIS are a German Psychedelic Jam band who sound more British than German which is probably why they aren't listed under Krautrock here. These guys love to improvise and just jam endlessly so here in a live setting why change? Called "In To The Sun" this was recorded live on July 20/06 at the Burg Herzberg Festival and they packed just under 80 minutes on this cd over 6 tracks.

They are a trio of keyboards, guitar and drums with the guitarist adding some bass and the keyboardist mainly plays organ but synths as well. There's a lot of organ led music here. Four long tracks plus "Mountain" a bluesy 7 1/2 minute number and my favourite the closer "Jam Bang" at under 5 minutes. Yeah if this whole recording sounded like that last track I'm a happy guy.

While I have had trouble getting into this band(not enjoying their lastest studio album or this live album) I do like "3" from 2006 and I've heard the first two studio albums are worth checking out. This is far too long and just not nearly as good as say ELECTRIC ORANGE and the like to offer up 4 stars.
