3 stars Debut album of this Italian one man band (recorded still with few guest musicians), is not bad, but quite traditional post-rock album. I always waiting some fresh ideas or sounds from Italian post rock bands. Some of them attracted me by their ,very Italian, post rock, heavy influenced by Baroque, classic music, RPI, with deep, full bodied and very melodic sound, sometimes using many different acoustic strings for arrangements (violins, cellos).

Not this case is this debut album. Even if you can feel some Baroque or symphonic moments, the music there is quite traditional post-rock, heavy influenced by some British or Scandinavian bands. Cool, a bit melancholic, often acoustic, dreamy, even heavy in few places. Good quality post-rock, what is far not too bad for debut. Just too predictable one.
