Review by ZowieZiggy
PROG REVIEWER
3 stars I believe that Ange could have released a great compilation work if their management (or themselves) have had the idea to combine both "Master Series" and only released a single CD instead of two. Anyway, this is another good Ange compilation. But better ones are to come.

Several superb classics like "Aujourd'Hui", "Fils De Lumière", "Godevain", "Mandrin", "Au-Delà...", "Ballade..." and "Le Cimetière..." of course. These are surrounded by second (to third) choices ("Vu D'Un Chien" for instance) but globally it is not uninteresting.

Still, in terms of compilation, I should better recommend you to get hold of their excellent live albums "Tome VI" as well as "Tome 87". They are far much superior and only holds great Ange songs from their most creative years. You'll avoid some boring songs which definitely do not belong to the Ange repertoire.

Three stars.
