Review by Warthur
PROG REVIEWER
5 stars This is a live release of Current 93's live set from the Union Chapel in London in May 1997. If you already have the brilliant All Dolled Up Like Christ set, this may seem slightly redundant, since this has a very similar set list and was recorded just over 6 months later. However, the performance this time around seems a bit more psychedelically- inclined than the delicate precision of that album; in particular, Rose McDowall takes on a lot of the lead guitar work and applies a certain acid rock buzz to proceedings which casts a peculiar haze. Familiar but different, this is another live classic.
