Review by Tarcisio Moura
PROG REVIEWER
2 stars Strange CD this is. After knowing this band through their superb last two albums, Man Of The Moment and Vision, I was curious and eager to dig out their earlier work. Unfortunatly the only thing I could find so far was this EP, and it seems it was obviously released to try please the mainstream pop audience of the time. You won´t find much of the majestic melodic symphonic sound of their newst effords. And nothing really new either. All the songs here are from their first or second CDs. There is however two ´radio edited´ versions of the title track and Roll The Globe, plus a ´piano mix´of Parts and the full Simplicius song.

Not that those tunes are bad. In fact, they are quite good pop/AOR stuff, very well done and very well played, but miles away from what the band has been doing lately. Unless you like that kind of music there is no point getting this EP. And the new versions simply don´t justify its release. Definitly for collectors and completionists.
