3 stars Speaking to Stones is an unfairly unknown prog metal band from USA formed by excellent guitarist Tony Vinci. The band released so far 2 albums, their debute was issued in 2006 selftitled at Lion Music. On this first release Tony gathered around him some good musicans , unknown to me, Richard Fink IV the vocalist is specially a winner here together with of course Tony. Speaking to Stones offer here a melodic prog metal with fine moments and passages, where the guitar has an important role, but also the keyboards are pretty decent for sure. Not as complex and with complicated arrangements as their next one but definetly good prog metal to my ears. All pieces are more then ok with a plus on Still Life or My final sin. 3 solid stars, their next one Elements is outstanding.
