2 stars Well, i love Mr. Rick Wakeman, his skill, the way he plays, some of his music, im a huge fan, (see my nickname).

But well, he has done looots of albums, some excellent progressive symphonic albums, some poor albums, and lots of ambient new age albums, this is one of them. Thisis the first of a Trilogy of ambient music albums, Aspirant albums, and i think this is the best for me, or at least my favorite of that three. Of course i wont say this is a good progressive rock album, because it isnt, it is totally instrumental and it is totally an ambient or new age album, in fact it says that it is music for relaxation, and why not? it could be a great album for that times. Piano work with some moody environment is what this album tried to show us, is good, maybe boring in some passages, but if you want you can stand it.

To be honest , this album is good if you are tired and want some rest, its good for your ears and senses, but talking about progressive rock, this isnt a prog album, and of course this isnt good for you. I like it, of course its not my favorite, there are looots of better albums, thats why i think, this is only for fans and collectors, i mean, its nice and good for me, but i dont think it could be enjoyable for you.

BTW, what a master of keyboards!
