3 stars A single that has live versions of "Solsbury Hill" and "Kiss of Life", and that was maybe released to promote PETER GABRIEL`s "Plays Live" album which was released in mid 1983, but was recorded in late 1982.

"Solsbury Hill" is the same live version which was released in the "Plays Live" album. It was a good choice to be released as a single, being a very good song with a good guitar riff, very accessible for the listeners, and more fo the casual listeners, because most of the songs that Gabriel recorded for the "Plays Live" album are not as accessible, with some of them being really "dark" musically and lyrically. Gabriel has said in interviews that some of his music could be "difficult to stomach" for some people. I agree with him. One really has to be "in the mood" to listen to some of his music. But "Solsbury Hill" could be more like a Pop Rock song. And this live version is very good.

"Kiss of Life", in the B-side of this single, was not included in the "Plays Live" album. So, the live version of this song is the main interest (at least for me) to have this single, being now more like a rarity. It also is a good live version, played fast and very well by Gabriel and his band, with drummer Jerry Marotta using some electronic drum pads like he did in Gabriel`s fouth solo album titled "Peter Gabriel", which was also titled as "Security" in the U.S. This live version of "Kiss of Life" can be listened to in youtube.
