5 stars Thus far the best album from the Oresund Space Collective, we have here a killer, guitar driven piece of space made up of several ten to twenty minute long tracks and jams, all dedicated to the almighty beard. The old use of electronic effects, and so their more ethereal side, is gone. The focus comes to guitars, with plenty of room for magic from keys and drums as well. All perform in this way. The band also indulges in playing voice samples live, leading to some neat effects from a heretofore fully instrumental band. "Beardlandia" sums up this smashing record quite nicely. "Ziggurat of The Beards" and "Remnants of The Barbonaeum" are fellow tracks that are a cut above the others, but all of it is excellent. The collective have really upped their game by now, which is phenomenal. They have to be one of the best ever jam bands, and I am just loving this band. Highly, highly recommended. This is some of the best space in years, and is spectacularly and whimsically played.
