3 stars A nice piece of neo-psych, if not much too write home about. Alithia's work here isn't special by any means, excepting perhaps the thirteen minute long opener "Thirteen Revelations". But I still find this a very enjoyable record, as it is done well enough and sounds very good. The vocals are the show stealers here, very operatic and the best done part. Everything else is cut and dry, and not so well done as to escape the term's negative connotations, even with the excellent vocals. Still lukewarmly recommended to modern psych fans, but this isn't so good, and your mileage will vary.
