4 stars Very real actually and very much alive!

In this PFM's streak of renacting live their past masterworks, "A Ghost", 2015 , comes of course from their "Photos of Ghosts" 1973 album. Inevitably one has to admire their energetic drive and impeccable performance. This live release proudly announces itself as what it is. No cheap-tricks or disguises. A song by song recreation through every single detail of the original work.

Now what makes it tick beyond that? Entirely the flawless performance, but by far the way they can actually bring you back in time and yet project a future of that 70's Italian band, as the world stopped below their feet or better yet was about to become the world.

Hard to rate, it if you missed that period, but an excellent start if so. What can I say? One of those 70's records that somehow represent one of my past life highlights.

So as for me, "essential memory piece, brought again through mastery and discipline to today's world, and it still rocks as new" release .

****4 PA stars.
