First of all, I have to say that Pers�ide is a band from my hometown, so that might color my judgment. On the other hand, I have to admit that "Les couleurs d'�t�" is the first album I've really enjoyed. The band has certainly matured since its debut in 2017.

The first three tracks of the album are rather laid-back, soaring, psychedelic... A pleasant moment, filled with synthesizers, Mellotron and beautiful melodies.

From the fourth track onwards, the album really catches my attention. "� travers le prisme" offers nice dynamics, "Les heures vives de l'errance" features wonderful vocal harmonies, "Kal�idoscope" has a driving groove, "M�diterran�e" exploits original sounds and the sequence of "L�-bas" / "O� le soleil ne se rend pas" is the real highlight of the album.

The album ends with a coda to lower the tension. It's well crafted.

I hope this band continues to amaze us with other albums as well written and produced.
