The Nightcrawlers biography
THE NIGHTCRAWLERS were an electronic group based in Pennsylvania formed by Peter GULCH, Dave LUNT and Tom GULCH. The members were a part of a seemingly big underground scene in the area that produced Berlin school inspired ambient music similar to TANGERINE DREAM, both as themselves under different monikers and collaborating within a group. These obscure acts like XISLE, GORICON and KOLAB didn't have much visibility though and mostly only privately released limited cassetes as a proof of their existence. NIGHTCRAWLERS were similar in that way with most of their discography with more than 30 records in total, but besides those they also released three well recommended full fledged studio LP's in their active years from 1980 and 1991, with some of their earlier limited material also being remastered in recent times as well.
The members were in later years working session musicians on various electronic based records, with Peter GULCH notably becoming a member of another Berlin school inspired band from the area for a couple of years, MINISTRY OF INSIDE THINGS.
