THE MINISTRY OF INSIDE THINGS are a duo consisting of producer, ambient DJ and synth player Chuck VAN ZYL and guitarist Art COHEN. VAN ZYL is known as a performer and a decades long host of succesfull electronic music radio show STAR's END, as well as an recording artist of his own and with aother local musicians from the Philadelphia area, like Peter GULCH of THE NIGHTCRAWLERS (THE SOUND MUSEUM and REGENERATION MODE projects for example but also occassional player with MINISTRY OF INSIDE THINGS). Art COHEN (collaborator with ARC and IAN BODDY) started playing with ZYL since the late 90's, and together they are consistently recording music which is rooted in live improvisation, combining the best of the ambient TANGERINE DREAM and KLAUS SCHULZE elements along with COHEN's guitar playing akin to sound of ASH RA TEMPEL or PINK FLOYD.
