AT NIGHT I FLY is a Progressive Metal band from Budapest Hungary that was founded in 2012 by Zoltan "BZ" BATKY (STONEHENGE, WENDIGO, AFTER CRYING) and Andras Adam HORVATH (DREYELANDS, AFTER CRYING). The band started out as a project, but later morphed into a full-time band, now opening for RIVERSIDE and others.



Originally, BATKY (lead and background vocals) and HORVATH (guitars, background vocals) recruited Zoltan HEGYALJAI-BOROS on bass and Gabor NAGYGYORGY (from K3 and AFTER CRYING) on drums. In 2012, the band released their EP "September Kills". Since they considered themselves a project, nothing else was planned at the time. In 2014, the original bassist left the band and was replaced by Gergely SPRINGER (DREYELANDS). The band released their first full-length album in 2019 entitled "Mirror Maze" and were joined by Kovago ZSOLT (DREYELANDS, HONEYBEAST) on keys who soon became a permanent member of the band.



The bands influences include DREAM THEATER, QUEEN, NEVERMORE, EVERGREY, PSYCHOTIC WALTZ, QUEENSRYCHE, ADRNALINE MOB AND PAIN OF SALVATION. The music is definitely geared towards fans of progressive metal and those that enjoy the music of the above mentioned bands along with STONEHENGE, WENDIGO, DREYELANDS, RIVERSIDE, SALVUS, ARTICULUS and SHADOW GALLERY will probably also love them.
