LLC

LLC have got started with their eponymous debut album in February 2023. They say LLC's musical characteristic is mathy melodic structure dynamically with complicated rhythmic bases but at least for me it sounds like their sound priority should be flexibility and simplicity. Of course, it does not mean this album consists of several 'short' tracks.

The second track "Company Fun Run" is such a wonderful combination. The beginning launches altogether magnificent heavy potential through all instruments. Such energetic sound blows are quite healthy. And in the middle part special crispy mathy attacks suddenly come up to us. Exactly mass of power. "Big Chief Finance" is a kind of one- man stage by the drummer / percussionist seasoned with colourful synthesizer pepper. "Dead Car Bounce" is another settled grunge-y shoegaze-y sound motivation. We are overwhelmed by their intention to play simply and easygoingly but loudly and magnificently. And let me say "Write Down, Write Off" involves such a diverse appearance only with an acoustic guitar. What an incredibility.

On the other hand, the fundamental background of the album's conception sounds more of so-called authentic math rock. We cannot find enough innovative essence via their musical funda. No suspicion this is a fine production really though. Nevertheless, various fantasies are stuffed in short songs, like clean fresh air under the blue sky. Good.
