Last Laugh biography
Starting out in late 1992, Swedish trio LAST LAUGH began creating alternative heavy rock influenced by bands like KING's X, PRIMUS and the 70's LED ZEPPELIN and KING CRIMSON.

In 1996 LAST LAUGH decided to try to gain attention with a self produced CD EP instead of demo cassettes. LAST LAUGH recorded three new songs and "Our spot on the planet earth" resulted in a record deal with Swedish independent label Record Heaven. In the middle of 1998 the Last Laugh full-length album "Meet Us Where We Are Today" was released and got great reviews both in Sweden and abroad (see below).

The collaboration with Record Heaven ended in 1999 and since then the band has been working on different demo recordings, unable to find a sound satisfying to all band members. These difficulties finally resulted in drummer Dennis Strömberg leaving the band in the beginning of 2003. Drummer Michael Olsson was happily enough able to replace Dennis immediately. In 2003 LAST LAUGH recorded new demo material which combines the unique LAST LAUGH sound with a more straightforward approach. LAST LAUGH is now in search of a new record deal which can enable the band to reach a broader audience. LAST LAUGH has appeared on several festivals during the past two years. Apart from gigs in Sweden they have also played in Russia. In April 2004 NLP Records released a compilation-CD featuring Swedish upcoming bands. LAST LAUGH is included on the CD with the track "Easy".

In 2005 the band started working on a new album.
