Manatees Experimental/Post Metal

3 stars Noisy and sludgy, monotonous yet challenging, from industrial metal to dreamy shoegaze-drone, this is all MANATEES' "Icarus". I guess, ISIS, SWANS and GODFLESH fans would like this one immensely, but others should not ignore it as well. If you tired of Post-Metal which is just slow Metalcore or heavy Post-Rock, go no further than here. Besides there's no trace of Doom-Death, Death, Black or Gothic Metal, which makes it even more interesting. It's Experimental Metal in its most intriguing form; it's when you bang you head and have some thoughts inside it, he-he) Also recommended for those who are into KHANATE, KAYO DOT and EARTH, you may like this one too
