Superdrama biography
Germans Superdrama were formed in 2004 by Roberto Gozon, a Mainz-based composer, teacher, singer and keyboardist, who later went on to become part of compatriots Argos, and veteran drummer Robert Stein-Holzheim, who was member of the legendary 80's German Prog band Scaramouche. After a year of line-up instabilities Superdrama were settled with the addition of Thomas Klarmann on bass and flute (yet another future member of Argos) and guitarist Michael Hahn. Still it took the band almost a decade to record and release a debut album. The fresh line-up included now a young Thilo Brauss as an additional guest on various keyboards and in 2014 the long-awaited ''The Promise'' was released on Progressive Promotion Records. Superdrama sound like a pretty Retro-styled Neo/Symphonic Prog act, introducing FISH-like vocals and heavier tunes in their sound, which should be an instant purchase for fans of the more complex side of Neo Prog and acts like US, THE GIFT or GALLEON.
